Audrey had a bad day on Wednesday. Her iPhone was stolen in her math class. She called me in tears, heartbroken. It was a Christmas gift and her most prized possession. Then she drove her grandmother to the hair salon and locked herself out of the car. She and grandma then had to wait 2-1/2 hours for me to get there (after work) with the spare key.
She was not a happy kid Wednesday night.
Yesterday in the mail she received a letter and certificate from the College Board. She has been recognized as an “AP Scholar” for outstanding academic performance.
This made her happy. She is the hardest working kid I know. I am proud of her. Now if she will just FINISH her college applications and get that over with I can relax!
